On August 28th the pueblo celebrates the day of the patron saint of San Agustín. The festivities last a whole week, during which traditional payes dances are performed, local culture is celebrates and traditional delicatessen market is open for the curious tourist. The original name or the pueblo is Sant Agustí d’es Vedrà, referring to the miniature islet that belongs to the parish, we can find it off the coast of Cala d’Hort.

Can Berri Vell is our personal favourite restaurant to visit. Refurbished Country side villa offers a delightful Payes cuisine, set in it’s own square overlooking the church. This destination absolutely must be part of your gastronomic tour. Another recommendation will be to visit Can Berri Art Gallery, curating paintings that were made in or inspired by Ibiza.
